The ten fantasy football waiver wire pickups that the most sites agree on this week. Tap a name to see why.
Early list. Made before the Monday night game. The final list comes Tuesday.
Bernard followed a nine-target Week 5 with 12 targets in Week 6, finishing with 11 catches, a touchdown and the overtime winner. Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson are both on injured reserve, so the targets have nowhere else to go. Sites that rank their adds put him first, though CBS Sports sees him as a borderline weekly flex for now. Sites show him on 35% to 50% of rosters, so check your wire first.
Cooper returned from an ankle injury and caught six of seven targets for 103 yards and a touchdown, running a route on about 85% of dropbacks. No other Jets pass catcher reached 50 yards, and Adonai Mitchell is out for now. Fantasy Life calls him its top add of the week. The risk is that his role may shrink behind Garrett Wilson once Mitchell is healthy again, and one site doubts the big game will repeat.
Lane returned from injured reserve with four catches for 40 yards on five targets. Rashod Bateman left Week 6 with a shoulder injury, which could open more snaps, and Lamar Jackson is expected back soon. Rotowire likes him as a red-zone option once Jackson is healthy. Yahoo sees a WR3 or flex, while FanDuel calls him more of a stash, so keep expectations modest for now.
Douglas caught seven of eight targets for 86 yards and a touchdown and has scored three times over the past two weeks. Doubs left that game early with a shoulder injury, which could make Douglas the team's most reliable target. CBS Sports calls him a red-zone favorite. He is on only about 8% of rosters.
Noel has scored double digits in three straight weeks and found the end zone in Week 6. Yahoo says he has had 50 yards or a touchdown in four of six games. The catch is that he plays a limited share of routes, and CBS Sports says he fits better in leagues that do not reward catches. Treat him as a flex with upside.
Mayer had 95 yards last Sunday and has scored 12 or more points in three of his last four games. Las Vegas uses a lot of two-tight-end sets, which keeps his target count high. NFL.com thinks he may be the Raiders' No. 2 target. Tight end is thin, so he is worth a look as a streamer.
Allen caught eight of 11 targets for 82 yards in Week 6 and has seen nine or more targets in three games in a row. Over that stretch he is averaging about six catches and 63 yards. The value is mostly in PPR leagues. Close to half of leagues already have him, so check your wire first.
In his last game before the bye, Murray threw for 229 yards and a touchdown and ran 10 times for 51 yards. His legs give him a safer floor than most waiver quarterbacks, and NFL.com calls him a short-term QB1. Yahoo names him the top quarterback add if he is available. Roughly half of leagues already have him, so check your wire first.
Tracy had two touchdowns on eight touches, playing about 38% of snaps, while Skattebo recorded no touches. CBS Sports says he took over the passing-down role and is the Giants' most explosive back. FanDuel warns that the touchdown rate will not last, and the backfield is still unsettled. He is on only 4% of rosters.
Miller ran 20 times for 70 yards and led the team with 22 touches in Week 6. Alvin Kamara is limited, and Etienne is not expected back until after Week 8. Touchdown work is shared, so he is a flex back, not a lock for every week.
Tre Tucker, WR, LV. Recommended by 3 of 8 sites. He caught five of seven targets for 97 yards and two touchdowns last Sunday and is the clear No. 2 target behind Brock Bowers. About 45% to 47% of leagues already have him, and his scoring comes in spikes.
Hunter Henry, TE, NE. Recommended by 3 of 8 sites, and Yahoo's top tight end add if he is available. He has had 40 or more yards in each of his last three games, but 43% to 51% of leagues already have him.
Roschon Johnson, RB, CHI. Recommended by 3 of 8 sites after 13 carries and two catches filling in for the injured Kyle Monangai. He is on about 5% of rosters, but his role may be temporary.
A player makes the list when at least half of the sites below recommend him as a Week 7 add. The more sites agree, the higher he goes. When sites tie, the one they rank higher goes first. Rostered percentages differ by site, so check who is free in your own league. Most leagues process waivers Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, so look at injury news before you claim.
